In order to ensure the legality and safety of the service of a taxi driver, he must submit certain documents that will be checked and approved by the relevant department of Karoot.
To start receiving ride requests through the app, a driver must first certify himself and at least one of his vehicles.
For the approval of the driver, the following are required:
- Special Taxi driving license
- Cash Register Receipt
- Identity: Front & Back
Whereas for vehicle approval is required:
- Vehicle License (Front & Back): Proves the legality of the vehicle for transportation.
If even one of the above documents is rejected, driver cannot receive calls until uploads the correct new documents and these are approved by the relevant department.
Important Note:
- IDs expire 15 years from the date of issue. If you have an expired ID, please send an update to support@thekaroot.com, along with your driver's license, to get your account approved.
- In order for documents you upload to the app to be accepted, they must be legible and show all four corners of each document, without glare or blurring.
