For the legality and safety of the service, the driver is required to upload documents for the certification of himself and at least one vehicle.
If even one of these documents has been rejected, the karoot app displays the Not Approved message and driver receives an email for the rejected documents.
The reasons for which a document may be rejected are as follows:
- Unreadable: The uploaded document is not sharp. The letters cannot be read clearly.
- Expired document: The document's expiration date has passed.
- Wrong document: A different document than the one requested was uploaded.
If, for example, an ID document needs to be uploaded, then the front and back photos should look like the following:
Note in the photos below that the documents appear intact, not glossy, and are legible.
In case one or any of the documents have been rejected, you should login to the karoot pro application and re-upload the corresponding correct documents.
Important Note:
- IDs expire 15 years from the date of issue. If you have an expired ID, please send an update to support@thekaroot.com, along with your driver's license, to get your account approved.
- In order for documents you upload to the app to be accepted, they must be legible and show all four corners of each document, without glare or blurring.
