Once you have registered with your phone on the Karoot Pro app, you will need to fill in your profile information and upload the required documents in order to get approved and start your rides!
First, select whether you are the owner, operator of the taxi, or an employee working for another owner. (In this case, the taxi owner must first create an account for you to connect to their account) and click on the "Profile Setup" button.
Then, in step 1, fill in your required personal details and click "Continue."
In step 2, fill in the required billing information or click the "Auto-fill" button if the billing details are the same as those in step 1. Then click "Continue."
In step 3, fill in your vehicle's information and services. Click "Continue" to proceed to the next step.
Finally, upload your ID, Special Taxi Driving License, Receipt from a cash register, and Vehicle Registration License. Click continue to complete filling out your profile.
Once all steps of the registration process are completed by filling in all required information and uploading all necessary documents, they will be reviewed by the Karoot team within 2-3 business days.
Once your account is approved, you will be notified by email and push notification for its activation, and you will be ready to start receiving calls!
If any of the documents are rejected, you will be notified via push notification & email to delete and re-upload them to complete the process.
Tips:
- Fill in all the required profile details.
- Ensure the documents are legible.
- The documents must be the originals.
- The profile picture must be a photo of the face and shoulders, on a white background.
Important Note:
- IDs expire 15 years from the date of issue. If you have an expired ID, please send an update to support@thekaroot.com, along with your driver's license, to get your account approved.
- In order for documents you upload to the app to be accepted, they must be legible and show all four corners of each document, without glare or blurring.
