Requesting Rides for you or for someone else

if you are already signed in, you can request a trip by following the below steps:

• Open your app and tap on the "Where to?" button.
• Enter your destination on the "Select destination" field. Check that the pickup location indicated is correct or you need to make any adjustments. In case you want to request a ride for someone else, enter their pickup location or search it on map.
• Once you select your destination, you can see the approximate time for the taxi arrival and the estimated cost range. You can change your payment method and set or change your trip options. Once you are ready, tap "Find a taxi", to send your request to eligible drivers in the area.
• Once a driver accepts your request, you will see the taxi’s location on map, time of arrival to the pickup location and driver & vehicle info. Additionally, you have the option to call or send a message to your driver and share your trip details with your loved ones.
karoot will send you notifications when your driver is getting close to your pickup location.

Note: If you haven't given the app permission to access your location, you'll also need to update your pick-up location.
